Shipping Policy
Domestic standard shipping procedure is generally by UPS Ground.
Special shipping arrangements such as common carrier, consignee shipping, UPS Next Day Air, 2ND Day Air or 3 Day Select can be accommodated at the Buyer’s request. Special shipping rates apply to Alaska and Hawaii (UPS 3 Day Select NOT AVAILABLE). International shipping procedures require coordination between “the Buyer” and Steel Grip, Inc.
Steel Grip works to meet each planned delivery schedule; however, we make no guarantee on delivery time and are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier. When we become aware of delays prior to shipment, Steel Grip will work with “the Buyer” for a solution.
All prices are F.O.B. Danville, IL. Freight charges are prepaid and added to each invoice, unless other arrangements are made.
Shipping time and delivery dates are based on the “type and quantity” of product(s) ordered. All invoices are dated as of date of shipment; delivery is construed to be acceptance of shipment by a common carrier or the Buyer, and if delivery is made to the Buyer, then receipt of goods by the Buyer shall be delivery.
Ship time (the time it takes for a product to leave our factory) is defined as:
- Stock Products – within 2 – 3 business days
- Non-Stock Products – within 20 – 25 business days
Stock product is defined as an “on-the-shelf item”; whereas, all non-stock type product is considered a “made-to-order item”. When stock and non-stock items are combined on one order – this order will not ship until “all non-stock items are constructed” and the order is complete. Buyers may wish to place “stock” and “non-stock” item(s) on separate orders when delivery time is critical.
To contract for a specified ship time and delivery date, coordination between “the Buyer” and Steel Grip, Inc. is required prior to placing an order.
